Hole 1 Flyover

A new look to the first hole will be sure to give the feeling of a new golf course right out of the gate. More then just a typical bunker project, with new contours and tie-ins, the course will truly feel like a new golf course.

Work Begins on #6

 Before work has begun.

Work begins with the demolition of old bunkers and the prepping of new bunkers by sod cutting the area of disturbance.

Holes 1 and 2 Progress

Hole #1 is nearing completion with all shaping finished, sod installed, and stone in place. The Better Billy Bunker liner is scheduled to be sprayed today and bunker sand should be installed early next week.

Pictured above is work being completed on #2 fairway bunkers. These 3 bunkers were rebuilt into 1 larger bunker. As seen, sod was stripped across the fairway so that a new bunker drainage outlet could be installed.

In this picture you can see that hole #2 is nearing completion. All stone should be completed by the end of the day. Sod will be finished next week.

Nearing the halfway point

Hole #18 is nearing full completion. The green complex pictured here has been completed with sand in bunkers. The fairway bunkers should be completed by the end of the week or early next week.

Sod on the right side of #1 green was lifted and reshaped to increase pin locations and to tie-in to the new grading on the right side of the green.

Pictured here is the work being done on the left bunker on #1 fairway. Mass amounts of soil must be moved surrounding some bunkers, such as this one, to recapture the natural grade and contours of the land as it was when Donald Ross designed the course.
